Hi,
A user called fatih was trying to register. Why is he banned? I have not banned because of contacting to the administrators? Is every user has to contact to the administrators? Or are administrators thought him spammer?
i'm not sure, maybe it was a multiple acount- or maybe they broke the terms or something. or in the case of 1 of my friends (well, if you can call him that) he was almost banned for saying he was from the USA, when actually he was from france. if you put in your profile a certain location like london, but in the country you put something like the united states, they think you may be a spammer.

It's one of the duties of a cl to check if a user who signs in might be an old user trying to get in under a new name. Or, is a user too young (age 13). Things like that.
It's actually phenomenal the tools the admins have given the cls to do this job. But, eventually an exciting challenge becomes a tedious task. When I was a cl some time ago, none of us took that job lightly. We would give a person applying for membership every opportunity to explain, and, usually a rule breaker would get a warning the first time.
Of course, if a rule breaker had already been warned it's curtains.
